I am very passionate about care. I have been in care for 17 years ranging all age groups from children to the elderly. I started in domiciliary care just over 4 years ago where I started as a carer and then progressed up to a care manager. I feel strongly that the care provided is what I would want for myself and my loved ones. I have lived in the local area all my life.

When I am not working, I love spending time with my family, I love going to the theatre, concerts and watching movies. I have a little menagerie at home.

What I'm most passionate about working in the social care sector is that I have the potential to make a huge positive difference in someone's life. This makes working in health and social care a very rewarding role which I’ve spent nearly 10 years dedicated to.

I started my career as a domiciliary care assistant and climbed the ladder through to the management level. Achieving my QCF Level 5 qualification in Leadership for Health and Social Care, I worked as a CQC Registered Care Manager for over 6.5 years, and also managed a portfolio of live-in clients and carers for a larger provider. I enjoy supporting and guiding families through setting up, devising and implementing care for their loved ones. Over the years, I’ve completed several training and qualifications required to expertly guide individuals and their families. I specialise in Dementia care, and many of my clients were living with dementia.

In my free time, I love to go hiking and explore new places. I also enjoy reading and I am a big animal lover.

I started my career in the care sector in 2006 in Austria, where I was looking after a lovely couple in the town of Linz on the banks of the Danube. I decided to move to the UK in 2007 and worked as a visiting carer in the Surrey area. I gained expert knowledge, skills and experience to progress my career. Soon after, I managed large Visiting and Live-In Care companies in south and central England. I also worked as a Dementia Care Manager in a Nursing Home in Epsom, working alongside Nurses as a valuable experience.

With numerous qualifications in Health and Social Care, I also completed my CIPD level 5 in HR Management and achieved an MBA. I strongly believe that if we support and look after our employees they will look after our clients.

When I am not working, I enjoy staying active through sports such as running and skiing, but sometimes I just like to stay at home and read a good crime novel.
